Finally!! We have found a specialist that can help my mom figure out her allergies, as well as her asthma. And the third part of her puzzle is the skin inflammation, which after YEARS no one has really been helpful. My mom has had asthma for 75 years. Dr. Wong was the first doctor to explain it in detail and provide a visual model for us to understand the disease. He also was the first to spend time listening to her and then gather comprehensive allergen test data. Can we clone him and have his clones specialize in other fields of medicine?? Yes, he's that good. And on top of that, he provided us with a list of products that my mom can use that won't trigger her. He took the known allergens from the tests, popped them into a computer and it provided a list of products that do not contain those allergens. We have boxes of skin creams/ointments, etc that were used once and caused a flare (drop it in the box). Such a waste of money and time. And to verify that list, yes there were things listed that my mom already was using that she knew were ok for her skin. Validation! I've been driving past the Song Institute for YEARS and thinking I should take mom there. That was my intuition talking and me failing to listen. If you have asthma, allergies and related skin issues PLEASE go see Dr. Wong. Take care of yourself. He will listen and help you. I seriously wish he was also a cardiologist, plumber, mechanic and ophthalmologist...probably more than that. And his staff is good too, especially Trish.

Having been a patient with other allergists in the Los Angeles area, I feel compelled to share how exemplary I find Dr. Andrew Wong and Song Allergy to be. They are truly a cut above - from the friendly professionalism of the office staff that greet you to the thoroughness of the initial intake exam to the ongoing, long-term allergy and asthma care one receives. I recently re-tested for allergies and discovered after a few years of allergy shots under Dr. Wong's guidance that I am now no longer allergic to one of my lifelong allergens and have drastically reduced the reaction to my others. Truly amazing, life changing work they are doing! I am so grateful to Dr. Andrew Wong and all the caring staff at Song Allergy!

I am beyond impressed with Dr. Wong. He was absolutely incredible! So thorough, intelligent, and had a deep caring for my situation. He spent time with me until we got to the bottom of it. He was so kind, genuine, and I highly recommend him and this office! Everything about the appointment was great. Great experience and will be my forever allergist.

We received excellent care and insight from Dr. Wong. He figured out a 15 year old mystery (my son was supposedly allergic to the flu shot since he was 3 years old). Now that he is 18 years old, Dr. Wong debunked the other doctor findings through current tests and reviewing his history. He was able to obtain an actual flu shot from CVS so we could do test and he personally contacted us during non business hours to ensure my son was O.K. His close monitoring was critical in his findings and we so appreciated his expertise.

I've been wary of doctors for a long time and was hesitant that Dr. Wong would prescribe heavy treatments for my allergies and asthma. I'm pleased to say I was very satisfied and impressed with Dr. Wong's care. He is professional, kind, and cares about his patients. I did not feel he was rushing our appointment, and he spent 1 hour with me teaching, advising, and recommending a path forward for my asthma and allergy issues. He did not push medication on me and in fact recommended simple over the counter solutions for my healthcare. He also did not push for me to come back and see him until I was ready to do so. Highly recommend the institute and Dr. Wong for asthma and allergy care.
